Race Information

Entry   

Entry is by pre-registration on the British Cycling website, and will close at 11:00 on the Friday night.  On the day entries will be accepted up to 12:30 at a cost of £12.50.

Cost

£10.00 for novices and experts. 

£5.00 for your second bike.

Classes

For those of you new to BMX racing, we race in 2 classes, Novice and Expert.  If you've not raced before,  you'll go into the novice class for the first year of racing.

Age Groups

Riders race in the age category that they will be at the end of next year.  For example, if you are currently 10yrs old, but will turn 11 in 2026, you will race in the 11yrs age category.

Riders will race in the following age categories for the series:

Boys

6 and under

7/8/9

10/11/13

 

Open

13/14/15

16+

30+

 

Girls

6 and under

7/8/9

10/11/12

13/14/15

Cruiser Mixed

15 under

16 +

30+

Points / Prizes

Points are awarded for your position in each round, and the best 3 rounds will count towards the overall series points winners in each category.  Riders require to ride 3 out of 4 rounds to get a trophy / podium medal.  Participation medals will be awarded to all riders riding at least 2 rounds and finishing outside the podium.

Plate no.

The entry form will ask you for your plate number.  If you've ridden before, you'll  probably already have a race plate.  If not, don't worry.  Just enter "000" and we'll give you a temp number.
